Road Closure - Regional Road 40 (South Service Road)

Motorists and the general public are hereby advised that Regional Road 40 (South Service Road) between Nelles Road North and RR14 (Bartlett Ave.) will be temporarily closed to through traffic from Monday, April 24th at 7:00 am to Monday, August 21st at 5:30 pm.

South side of Main St E between Lawrence Ave and Cabernet St

From Monday, May 29 – Monday, July 24, 2023

The sidewalk on the south side of Main St E between Lawrence Ave and Cabernet St will be closed to pedestrians from Monday, May 29, 2023 – Monday, July 24, 2023.

The road closure is necessary due to construction related activities.

New Governance Structure Implemented as of May 1, 2023

During the last term of Council, Council moved to the Committee of the Whole (COTW) governance structure. The 2022-2026 term of Council began in November 2022, and at that time, members of Council expressed their wishes to return to the previous Standing Committee governance model.
